I finished the game yesterday. If I had to describe the experience with just one emoji it would be
Srsly, that’s the most violent game I played so far! But it was fun, maybe just a bit too long. And the graphics are incredible for PS4!

Cult of the Lamb on my switch this days, I only have time late at night and no wish or will go boot up my PC and complete the 3/4th run of Elden Ring.
Really great game tho.
Playing Battletech. I forgot how much I enjoyed turn based strategy games. Just one more turn!
Currently playing:
(my 5th playthrough)
Installed Baldur’s Gate 2 because my soul needed it.
Installed Dragon Age Inquisition for more casual RPG after work session.
Fallout 1, because it’s better than 2.
Fallout 2 because I have to finish this game at least once.
I play far cry 3 and GTA IV through lutris.
Persona 4 (PS2 version) on PCSX2 - really enjoying it, have played Devil Survivor before but this is the first time I’ve tried any of the Persona games
I’d highly recommend everyone to try chess on https://lichess.org/
Now about choosing chess platform
There is lichess.org, chess.com, chess24, chessbase. These 3-4 are well known chess sites.
But I love lichess because
It’s Opensource.
Source code: 1. https://lichess.org/source 2. https://github.com/ornicar/lila
Completely free
Features comparison: https://lichess.org/features
Zero ads & trackers
. https://lichess.org/ads
It has all the features that other chess sites offer
piece movements are smoother than other sites
Puzzles: https://lichess.org/training
Streak, Storm & Racer: 1. https://lichess.org/streak 2. https://lichess.org/storm 3. https://lichess.org/racer
Here is another Opensource site if you want more puzzles: https://blitztactics.com/
If you are bored of classical chess then try other variants.: https://lichess.org/variant
Again if you are still bored of these variants then try more variants on pychess: https://www.pychess.org/variant (completely opensource, free just like lichess)
If our skill is better than our opponents, then how those opponent are strong than us ?
Reminds me of Old Indian defense !
We can even play on chessboard, or even compacter form, on a piece of paper, by moves notation; if our imagination is strong.
I believe there is. That’s why players study the repertoire of possible opponents, in order to come up with better out of the book variation, though Endgame decides the fate, as starting moves are almost fixed.

Skill is basically knowledge but experience also helps. Thats what we see child prodigy vs experienced old players games. Children learn fast outplay adults but they lack experience.

If you go that far then we can even play chess on our mind only & just speak your moves to your opponent & play. Which is very easy & common for titled players, some players even play blindfolded multiple boards. (I think I can play a simple ~30moves game blindfolded )

I just mentioned chess in relative to other games but if you only focus on chess specifically then there are other variants like 960 & Placement chess for that purpose.
I am not a chess expert or regular chess player like you, though I am strong user of Hypermodern plays like Reti opening and Modern defense.
Hence, I agree with you, as you are superior to me over the skills required here.
I’m not a chess expert either, never played OTB chess & never learned openings, just played too many (~60K) online games & solved puzzles.

You never know without playing few games vs your opponent
I just downloaded civilization beyond earth. It’s available on Linux and down 75% labor day weekend. Civilization VI is my favorite game, hopefully beyond earth is worth it!
Love the civilization series, have played them all since I was a kid
I Play World of Warcraft and am heavily into emulation. I script C++ for use in World of Warcraft emulation, more specifically in the TrintyCore Project. I am currently re-learning coding in Linux as I very recently dumped Windows from all machines. I stayed on Windows as long as I did for coding reasons but I am finding coding in Linux to be superior and frankly it is easier in many regards. Back tot he topic here, gaming on Linux was a journey and I am afraid not a short one but long last I am officially just gaming on Linux now. I get better FPS and where latency was an issue that has all but vanished. Why? Arch Linux, that is why!!! What separates Arch from the other disro’s, I am not real sure but when I install all the dependencies needed for gaming on World of Warcraft on the retail or private server community they work flawlessly on Arch Linux and not so much on Debian or openSUSE distros. Nobara Project is a very very close 2nd to Arch Linux in having all my gaming needs. I am new to EndeavourOS actually just installed it 2 days ago. So far, I really like what I see and my gaming experience thus far has been flawless. I look forward to doing my first OnlyLinux channel review on EndeavourOS as the out of box experience here was even better then that of my favorite distro which i will only reveal in a PM. I am very hard on an OS, I try anything and everything to break my system before placing trust in it and before installing all my gaming software on it etc etc. So very sorry to not stay on topic here about what games are you playing but I just got crazy excited with my first impressions of EndeavourOS and boasted a bit. APOLOGIES!!! Answer to the topic: World of Warcraft and Runescape and OldSchool Runescape!!! All run flawless on EndeavourOS without jumping through any major hoops!!!
I will try to contribute to this community anyway I can!!! being a bus driver for the local school there are times I am not at my keyboard!!! GOD bless and take care all!!
Hello and welcome @Stonecolder71 Enjoy the purple ride
Thanks so much!!! Been a rough few hours!!! Flooding down here in Jefferson County in Indiana. I am a bus driver and a fellow driver lost an Aunt in the flooding!!! I was being careless earlier and deleted my back up HDD and lost all my cpp’s, sql’s, about 3 TB of data gone. Trying to use TESTDISK to bring it back and it is running so slow and I am not too optimistic I have lost about 3 years of work Great to be a part of the community though!!! Any ideas for data recovery shoot me an email and GRATITUDE!!!

Good luck, because you will need that.
You ever play Humankind or Old World? I played Humankind almost the whole weekend. I like it better in some ways to Civ 6. I am waiting to here from a friend how different Old World is.
I saw this one too. Have to check human kind!
Some cult of the lamb. The game run really well with proton. it’s a lot of fun.
Also i can finally play at Age of empires 4 without the need of booting windows. Some guy on github make a script for fixing the desync in multiplayer.
