I have a manga, anime, and figures disorder (just kidding (a bit)). Unfortunately, I can’t help you, but I would if I could. Stay strong and never give up!
I think I will lose this fight. I can get 12 games for less than $50… ![]()
I’ve recently started re-playing “Defense Grid” on Steam. Haven’t played it in years, but it looks great on my new 28" monitor.
Take them! Having them available for playing is always better than needing them later …

I used to play all no-Steam-Games via Heroic, as it supports not only steam but gog, epic, and so on and I owe some games in Gog as the DRM-free-argument is a very good argument. At this time I play whenever I can spare time heavily modded Skyrim SE AE and installed the mod list Nordic Souls via jackifiy, the linux version of Wabbajack. It runs to 99% perfectly. And next time I try a installation via Amethyst as this native mod manager for linux supports nearly any game beside bethesda-stuff and it works very similar like MO2.
Good thing you mentioned this.
I should check GOG before making any more Steam purchases.
Yes, DRM is their main argument. But keep in mind that GOG versions sometimes don’t support modding very well, and this can be an issue with older games that you want to modernize a bit—especially since they’re designed for newer hardware.
Not big on modding, so that’s fine. But this is good to know.
People who uses lutris be aware, the updates in the arch testing repo will break lutris
gnome-desktop-1:51.0-1
gnome-desktop-common-1:51.0-1
To fix lutris you need to downgrade the packages above.
sudo pacman -S extra/gnome-desktop=1:44.5-1 extra/gnome-desktop-common=1:44.5-1
Bodycam. The most “hyper-realistic” first-person shooter available got a major update in early September.
This looks absolutely amazing. And it’s early access Steam download is 20% off until October 8th.
I am not sure a hyper-realistic shooter is something I would play personally, but they are certainly doing some interesting things with tech there.
what sort of games do you play?
I play lots of different genres. Action, RPG, Adventure, FPS, etc.
I mostly play single player games through.
No matter how many new games come out, I just keep falling in love with old classics. I’m playing Metal Gear Solid 1 for the first time (the GOG version) and I can’t stop thinking about it. Just brims with boundless imagination in design and storytelling. All these years and I only know MGS from the memes, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.
I loved the Metal Gear series on playstation 1
Older games are much better compared to the “new” games these days.
