Well, I see… you mean FLAC and it is MP3 that is proprietary.
I really wish FLAC becomes the default, I listen to classical music mainly.
But not sure where can I download in FLAC.

I will search now.
UPDATE:
Searched and most I found are MP3 + Subscription, very little FALC (subscription as well)

As we are on this thread I hope someone has a link to FREE + FLAC download classical!

Sure! Classical music in General.
I listened some time ago at an opera house (by chance was Beethoven), to me listening live was absolutely different.

When I want back home, I played the same on my iPad with the earphones… well… I don’t need to tell how I felt!

I have lots of CDs, I remember long time ago I found they had the same music in FLAC and MP3.

Anyway the MP3 CD quality is not that bad.
