Take a look at this thread. A lot of people experience(d) issues with starting up-to-date EndeavourOS/Arch machines, including VMs.
In the end, it seems to boil down to a mesa driver issue. I was affected but when I create a new VM (using KVM/QEMU) it works fine right now. Your mileage may vary, some people still report issues. One recommendation is to downgrade mesa.
