Here is a video demonstrating my daily driver, EOS with KDE Plasma 6 with latest releases, running on a 13-years PC Workstation.

After my reinstallation of Plasma, I had to realize that the update-notifier under Wayland does not work as planned. See here:

So I use the widget apdatifier that you introduced. Let’s see how it works. Is there anything important to note?

Nothing special. There are many options including the check for new updates intervals. It is working very well for me

How to install? I’ve downloaded the latest version extracted the files to it’s own folder now what?

Add it to

~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids

or simply install it from plasma widgets

It works very well here too. First time update today in the morning. Get update notification, update process started in konsole. Perfect !

It provides news too, which I like it. I use yay --nocomfirm in a terminal (konsole), and it works well too.
I am very happy with this widget.
Management menu is very helpful as well.
