so I am waiting for new kernel release hopefully the issue will be addressed.
This situation reminds me problems with Sound Blaster on linux many years ago.

Test if it works with the linux-lts kernel.

Tested. It does not work also.

Did you try downgrading the kernel then?

I downgraded to linux-rt-lts and headphones are detected correctly.
