How exciting, looks like AI has finally made it to the forums! Soon we won’t even be able to tell real users apart from AI ones. The future looks wonderful. Many of us are already older, but poor kids…

True, although by ‘finally’ I meant more of a hypothetical moment when we won’t be able to tell a bot from a real user anymore. Either way, that doesn’t seem to be the case with Berta

What did Microsoft do exactly that you were greeted with grub rescue after the upgrade to Windows 11?
Windows 11: that could not be done more obvious.
Yes, by now, we all understand that upgrading your system to Windows 11 caused your Linux system to not to boot.
I am asking what exactly was done. If you have now rescued your Linux system, you should know what went wrong.
No, it cannot be more cryptic.
If that is not a “State Secret”, tell us exactly what happened and how you resolved it so we know next time when/if someone else runs into the same issue.
That is of course if the whole idea behind this topic was not to instigate rave/rage/rant about Microsoft.

Just to put this all in the right perpective @perletero mentioned a deleted answer that I received, from someone that made certain claims and said something like to bombard this forum with AI (or something like that). So I just was able to read this answer, and I think the answer was removed by a moderator, but I don’t know if it still can be found somewhere ?

As this attempt at a joke has shown, there is no easy way to tell a funny story without it being misunderstood.
I thought it was so exaggerated that it couldn’t be misunderstood.
For that, I apologize.
Already had the feeling this was meant as a joke, but the message disappeared before I could react to it. It is the kind of joke I could have made in every day life, but obviously is not appreciated on this forum . It would have been a strange way of exposing yourself like that, if you would plan something “evil” I was thinking.

I was the one who removed the post, not because we don’t appreciate humour over here, but it was flagged multiple times, and I wanted to prevent the thread not being taken seriously.

Which, for me, was an obvious opportunity for a joke, but also a fear that this is how AI will be used in the future.

Written jokes are hard to get, especially if your own language is not English. We are not all from English speaking countries. For example for me it looked like extremely poor trolling attempt.
What´s next ?
