No I’m deadly serious - there are two types of people in the world: ISIS paedophiles and law abiding citizens. The only thing stopping the ISIS pedos from blowing up our kids is… politicians (thank heavens getting elected makes you Navy Seal and an IT expert!).

Amen to that. The future is getting more and more bleak by the moment with every passing law like this. You couldn’t have found a more appropriate meme.
Because there’s so many people who are willing to take away the freedom of others and actively want others to live in dogma such as yourself, and so few who are fighting for the opportunity of freedom and free choice it is hard to see saving the world when so many are trying to hard to bring it down.
It’s exhausting wanting to help and trying to help - especially when it’s so obvious that at some point, you pretty much give up, and the weight of the world crushes those who try to hold it up.

No it’s exhausting listening to people think everything is about their freedom. No one is taking away your freedom or anyone else’s. It’s about implementing new laws to create safeguards for all society. It’s a good thing and it is necessary to update laws regarding the internet and social media platforms.
Edit: End to End Encryption is part of that.

If you don’t understand how taking away freedom is taking away freedom, there’s nothing more that can ever be said. The fact is laws are going to be updated, new laws are going to be implemented and it is a fact that this needs to be done.
Of course! Which is why I support the freedom for folks to continue to disagree instead of taking away that choice from one group.
If it was a need - then no one would disgree.
