Test what distro are suitable to you most šŸ§

Hey,guys,I found a interesting websiteā€¦
Welcome to share your result :tada:

https://distrochooser.de/en/d515643497ec This is mine. The top ones almost are ubuntu or its subdistro
I want something out of the box actually.Because I am so busy that I canā€™t fix the infinite issues on my computer.

For me the top one was OpenSuse. Now Iā€™m curious about it

Same. Apart from Artix (which is still Arch so it doesnā€™t matter) and Void, it really is the only other rolling release Iā€™d want to try on bare metal.

That said, all the Ubuntu ones were at the end, as expected. Except for Mint and Zorin. Iā€™m guessing because I chose the Windows option?

I was recommended 25 distros at the end? Am I stupid? (Yes). Was the first one the answer? Or the second right next to it? Or all? The first two were Devuan and suse? is that right? not right? all questions were worded suspiciously and I would not fall into their trap in the middle: ā€œDo you like Mac or Windows better?ā€ So I didnā€™t answer. The lack of answering probably skewed results more.
Except I could not fathom why 25 recs??
Colossal waste of my time.
(an obvervation, not a complaint, believe me  )

I think maybe the all top ones are answer.
Another possiblity is ā€œanswer has in your heartā€ :tada:

I donā€™t need a website to tell me what is best for me I already know.

Sorry for this, but it seems I have to leave you and use PCLinuxOS instead. It was not my decision, I read that on this great thing called internet, which has a solution for every question. Even those questions you never knew you wanted to know the answer.

I got a list of mostly rolling arch-like distroā€™s - but EndeavourOS was nowhere to be seen.
Weird.
Very.

Their advice is a good attempt, I guess, but just a bit off - in the trade this is called a Parker-advice.

I got Void Linux, so I guess I will now leave you guys to venture unknown. :rocket:

Seriously, I have never even heard about that distro.

Canā€™t say I didnā€™t expect this. In fact, I think I will move to openSUSE Tumbleweed again, just because.

I got a same suggestion.
Letā€™s have a advanture. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I notice that.
I think maybe the website is too old to record endeavour.

Sure!

I want to try fedora and opensuse on winter holiday then find a good one for my school life.

I love EOS but I canā€™t resolve the issue about temperature.
I believe its reason not about distro but I actually got a good work on ubuntu, strange.

Strangely (because Iā€™m an inveterate distro hopper), I saw some recommendations Iā€™ve never seen before. I would like to be a musl libc distro, but I would miss the AUR too much I think, and possibly pull my hair out from compilation (I havenā€™t actually needed to compile anything in years, though I have done someā€¦voluntarily?).
I think Iā€™m fairly firm on arch based for the near future.

What issue, exactly?

Mine came up as Arch! :joy:

please see my last topic.

Shocker, mine came up with OpenSUSE and Debian. Been using Debian for 20+ years.

I ended up with Void

I think Iā€™ll stick with Endeavour.
