Steam no longer starts

i can’t say exactly since when, because i don’t use steam every day, but it doesn’t start anymore. Here’s what the console says but I can’t really figure it out

Quick search revealed that system reboot could help, have you rebooted after some recent Kernel / drivers update?

i try this with every error, windows habit
unfortunately it does not work even after a reboot, aborts with the same output

I have also reinstalled steam once already

Did you update your fontconfig configuration files after the recent changes? You’ll likely need to re-link them.

This implies something related to graphics - what’s your hardware configuration, which driver are you using, and which DE and display server (Xorg or Wayland)?

This also implies an issue with networking, unless you have blocked Steam from uploading crash logs?
