It seems like most of Nature on this planet gives it’s fruits for free. Humans it seems do not. There is usually another agenda. Usually this agenda seems to be money, and money buys power over other humans. Those power hungry humans think it gives them control of the planet. It does not, although it might give you power over human society. But if human society destroys the planet, then power and money mean nothing because “society” will have nowhere to exist and all the power grabbing will come to nothing and be meaningless, which it always has been.
“All things are our relatives; what we do to everything, we do to ourselves. All is really One.”
Indeed, everything is related to everything else within the framework of our existence. Every action affects everything else in a small or big way (spider web consciousness). Where is your quote from?
I’m not one of “those parents” that posts everything about my kids lives. Maybe once a week or every two weeks (95% of my posts are me and my shenanigans, my cooking, the movies I watch). I understand your comment fully. I am one for privacy. The posts are also for distant family. Whatever “privacy” settings FB offers, I have all those enabled. Only family/friends see those pics. But yeah, privacy on FB? Doesn’t exist.
It’s the other way around. Even plants that give their fruit aware for free get something in return. Those seeds get dropped and fertilized elsewhere as a second agenda. While there are some bits that work in synergy, all things live at the expense of something else for their own needs. Plants can grow tall to cause canopy shade for itself and offspring to push out other plants. That newest tree then becomes a look out for a hawk who chases down a squirrel that drops the seed it just took from the tree and in 20 years the hawk has a new perch.
In nature nothing is free, and very rarely fair. Nothing does anything without it ultimately benefiting itself or it’s own in some way.
