Going since I posted and already over 5…
Congratulations and many thanks!
Nice to see over 120 seeders in already!
Was there some particular reason the EnOS app launcher icon included in the Xfce theme wasn’t used and included in the global theme? Plasma has that design flaw where setting a custom icon permanently overrides the icon set by all plasma panel themes that you apply afterwards, unless some kind of reset of configs is done or you manually browse for the icon file every time.
Getting the torrent so I can seed. Congratulations to the team on another release.
Congrats EOS Team.
All ready running it did a complete new install yesterday, without a desktop that was fun almost the arch way
and selling wallets with it
Congratulation for EndeavourOS Galileo Release announcements. I wish next release will bring refinements and bug fixes. Because since i first time try EndeavourOS Antlantis screen brightness keep resetting at 100% upon Reboot or shutdown. It’s very annoying. In Debian based Distribution (Including Linux Mint) Screen Brightness working as well. Now i’m using Kubuntu 23.10 “Mantic Minotaur” working like charm.
Hi, it would be nice if you started sharing your logs about this issue because each release brings in refinements and bug fixes.
If we don’t know what is going on, we can’t fix it. We need details, otherwise the issue can’t be solved.
And if you do, create a new post about it.
Ahhhh, I didn’t see that as I use FreeTube and it has sponsor block.
Congratulations EOS team on the next big step forward! Seeding the torrent further up this thread for the folks needing it.
@Reno-Sifana I experienced something similar, only in my case it was something to do with an KDE update for the power management component. I had to manually turn off ‘Dim Screen’ under energy saving within the system settings. It kept dimming the screen down to 15%, took me a while to figure out that this option was the issue for me.
It may or may not be it for you, i’d recommend opening a new thread if it isn’t the solution. Hope it helps you, buddy.
See the stuff you miss when its not Shoved down your throat.
hehehehehe exactamundo brother.
Ok. Maybe next time I’ll test Galileo Release soon. But how to capture the logs?
