Okay. Next time if I encountered a problem related of EndeavourOS I’ll create new thread (exactly a separate thread). I’m promise.
Changes look good. I literally just reinstalled a new setup to test Root on ZFS and was satisfied before applying personal configuration; would it be worth it to redo the process with the new ISO?
Side note: Is there a place I can look that shows me basically all of the customizations and configurations that are put in place my the EOS team for the distribution?
and the December 2023 update is out now too
psst we still need a download space to provide new weekly rebuilds… may i go for sourceforge…
and the January 2024 version is being worked on
Would it help to have a space on the same box that runs an EnOS mirror? I have a decent size drive that could be dedicated thusly…
you know space is not the issue we think about adding them to the mirrors already… but as they are untested automated builds we do not want them mixed with the human tested release ISOs.
On the other side seems peoples really find them useful. But to share them must be done with caution, and users using them should report back if they may find issues or if they simply working great.
The issue on my space was that i got over 13000 downloads of the ISO files over the period of a month…
That’s a hefty amount of data traffic
This info could get added as comments to the releases so i am more into adding these back on GitHub releases where it is possible to comment.
We will need to think about internal first
Well, space and dload frequency aren’t issues here… it could even be separate ‘instance’ - not on a mirror per se. Another redirect is all that’s needed. Not sure how to implement comments though! Just an alternative to keep in mind if needed.
(note: same box is also a chaotic-AUR mirror, so used to multi uses)
I will send you P.M. there is indeed something we could need
