This arrived yesterday in the mail from the UK. It’s the first season of Zombie Land Saga. It’s an idol anime with zombies. I don’t normally watch this kind of thing, but the zombies sounded quite interesting. There are also a few horror elements, but it leans more towards comedy. I think I’ve already watched seasons 1 and 2 two or three times on Crunchyroll, so I had to have it on Blu-ray.
Since I’m always looking for something to do in my free time, I ordered an inexpensive DIY guitar kit.
I’ve never “built” a guitar before. This is my first attempt.
After sawing the headstock into the desired shape and sanding the body and neck, I made my first attempt at staining it. I’ll spend the next few days applying a lot of coats of Danish oil to give the guitar a finish.
It could all look a bit better, but for a first attempt without any experience, I’m quite satisfied so far.
The guitar probably won’t be very playable in the end, and the quality of the kit is on the lower end. But the process is fun, and that’s what matters
edit: oh, they’re safety shoes, wish I’d know about these when I needed that kind of thing. The boots we used to get issued were like Frankenstein’s monsters gardening boots.
This arrived today from the UK. It’s the first season, The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm (three-part OVA series) and the second season of the anime series “The Ancient Magus’ Bride”. It also includes season two, Arrow of the Orion (Movie), season three, and season four parts one and two of the anime series “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”.
(Note: Unfortunately, I couldn’t find season one (Region B) of “Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” at a price I could justify (has become very rare).
There were also shoes but I’ll wait until spring arrives before wearing them. Over the years, I’ve had more than five pairs of shoes from this model (I am a creature of habit).
