Something different, a wristwatch diver, made in Germany Micro Brand Marc & Sons, Ceramic bezel Superluminova “Old Radium”. Bought second hand. I like big clunkers.
I went the mini-pc route as well and I’m really enjoying it so far. I got the Ryzen 7 5825U with 32gb of ram and a 1tb nvme drive for a little over $300. EOS install is complete, just setting up all my stuff now, which will take a bit.
I purchased a Asus minipc with Ryzen 7 cpu and 32 mb ram with 2 internal drives and I have also a 2TB external usb drive connected. Works really well even with the AMD video chipset built into it. Nice change for a second computer especially because of the small form factor. . .

For sure, I love the size and it’s nice and quiet. My plan is to turn the mid-sized i7-8700k into a promox playground and let it make all the noise it wants in the basement.
Also, I hope you got more than 32mb of ram. Sorry, I had to!
32 Gig ram I recon. . . . . .

Only about 300$?
$329, its close enough in my book. Link is here.
Awesome! But some reviews on Amazon mention viruses/malware in the Windows installation. Unfortunately, that’s something seen in other cheap mini PCs.
these 4 ?
love the vintage cable style not really cheap device, in Europe its on 50€ ?
I do search for a power blower for month already.. but i do not see why they should cost that much money for this little thing they do
nice keyboard
Yes, those 4 nozzles.
I guess you can safe a little if you check the second hand market / warehouse deals / customer returns.
As it’s a quite simple device, I expect it to last a long time. No batteries that may degrade or such.
It’s cheaper than the usual battery driven blower fans. And in comparison to compressed air cans … a single can might be cheaper. But on the long run (10+ cans) those would be more expensive.
Yes really nice
Lucky for him he’s wiping it and installing EndeavourOS.
Sure!
But I wouldn’t trust a seller that allows for viruses installed in the OS: what prevents the seller from also infecting the BIOS?
Yeah, that wouldn’t surprise me at all. I’m not really sure there is a “clean” version of win11 anyway. I only booted into windows to check the hw out, then immediately installed EOS on it. I didn’t even let windows connect to the internet.
I swore by MX keys for a long time, until mine got defeated by a freaking cookie crumb.
Now, clacking away with a Keychron Q1 HE, been for a while now. And cannot go back.
The preinstalled Windows is malware itself…
I’d only recommend an Asus NUC device (previously known as Intel NUC).
From my experience, Chinese brand mini-PCs aren’t awful, but they tend to reveal clear limitations or lackluster performance. That’s based on my encounters a few years back, with Beelink being the most notable example that springs to mind. Never again.
