@ricklinux This isn’t mine. Just sharing here. The OP has a Think-pad x1 yoga and that is known to have many issues with trackpad.
But bloating and floating go together! If bloated enough, no treading water is required! The real trick is to get enough bloat without foundering…

Hmmm - change that to ‘Can’t run Windows properly’ - and I’ll buy in. Of course, there is no hardware that can pull that particular trick off! 
Maybe a Hackintosh on the side??
The proper way to run any malware, including windoze is in a VM with no internet access.
