You need to put a red ‘hourglass’ on the back of the router and make it look like a
‘Black Widow’ spider. . . .

Rich

This is almost as good as that BIOS message in days past:

Keyboard not found error. Press <F1> to continue.

(Actually happened. Me trying to install a server with no keyboard attached. Fortunately, the BIOS had a setting “Ignore keyboard errors”…)

This one deserves a repost. I encounted it my self last year to “fix” the notebook from my brother in law. His notebook was terrible slow on windows. We discovered 1 of his memories died and he got stuck with 4gb of ram. Windows was so slow, even a old computer from the late 90’s was faster. I encouraged him to try out linux, he gaved me permission to install it on his notebook. I installed endeavour os and after the installation was finished i installed steam and his older games. I gaved it back and he was really happy how fast his notebook was, it was never been this fast he said when he bought the notebook years ago.

The image above is not a joke, it’s reality.

As silly as this one sounds it basically was there to make sure you had a working keyboard before you continued.

Its not joke its a meme :pinched_fingers:

Yeah, I noticed this too when installed EOS to that new laptop of mine two days ago. I thought that 16GB is indeed really too few GB’s for running OS these days when using Windows after relatively long while.

Well, as it naturally turned out, it isn’t. It was Windows hogging almost half of the memory. No wonder that fans were singing…
