Moved from cinnamon to xfce and I’m really liking it. Added a basic conky (still needs some more stuff added, but that’s for down the road) and installed plank for the bar at the bottom. There will be more to do soon, I’m sure.eos

I’ve actually moved to cinnamon after “DE Hopping” a bit. I find it a good balance of the the things I like.

FYI
The “dock” in the screenshot is actually a second panel with the grouped window list applet. A cinnamon extension is responsible for the transparent background on that panel.

Is that a conky on the right?

Yes that’s correct. Also the clock is a conky script.

@ricklinux and @stephanh if I am not mistaken I saw those conkys also at the MX Linux.

They certainly have the look of those ones. There’s quite a few on Arcolinux as well - in both cases I think you can get them from a live session if you’re interested - they make a good starting point at the minimum

this are two default settings/themes shipped with conky-manager

The clock is a default script that comes with conky. The right one i got from Chris Titus Tech and adapted it to my liking.

Very pretty light terminal and wallpaper. Nice to see another person using scrot, too
