Finished putting my desktop together. The initial set up took no time as I’ve built the dedicated Silverblue image over the past 2 weeks; the rest was fine-tuning and adjusting things here and there in my free time. The only issue I had was with suspend, but the fix was easy. Overall it was a breeze setting this machine up. Installing games was a bit of an adventure in the first 30 minutes but all is good now. The titles I’ve been eager to play runs very well and I’ve already completed one!
My Lenovo is doing just fine… with the same old desktop layout.
EDIT: Finally messed up the long-running reply chain. Oh well
I’m happy with Colloid-Icon-Theme , Greeze-Colorscheme and klassy WIndow Decorations. Greeze colors got a update and so the terminal is also very legible
Some minor Klassy tweaks (shadow, outline, border), changed to Stylish Icon Theme, changed wallpaper, went from transparent to solid bottom panel.
Activated Panel-Colorizer and changed colors to Greeze. Using wallpaper from @UncleSpellbinder
i have not been on this forum in a long time. i switched to elementary os and my computer frooze up all the time around that time. so i thought it was my hardware. turns out it was elemetary os being bugy asf. i came back to endeavour os and no more freezing. it was literally the distro. i know pantheon de crashes on arch as it is not meant for it. anyway i switched to kde and I LOVE IT. i am never going back. so here i am, BACK AGAIN TO MY LOVE ENDEAVOUR OS.
4th pic my battery died i am gonna get a new one this week
welcome back!
Keep it simple, stay home
Ah yes, elementaryOS (the imposter EOS).
It’s a beautiful distro, but I have to agree that it is painfully buggy.
I came across this wallpaper.
It reminded me of one of the official EndeavourOS wallpapers with an astronaut in it, may someone can edit it to make it look like an EndeavourOS wallpaper. Here are the original links.
“cuerdos” sorta sounds like the abbreviation of “de acuerdos” (to agree) in spanish. Sounds pretty spanish to me all around
I think CuerdOS is a gem amongst many debian based distros. It doesn’t try to offer everything for everybody. Their app selection is quite sane (cuerd=sane… ), and there are some nice little optimizations and performance improvements which give some personality to distro. The main versions are Sway and Xfce, but there are also community versions like Kde Plasma, Cinnamon and Mate.
Welcome to the forum @milky Enjoy the purple ride
