@judd
Very nice!
My Garuda Linux Deepin Desktop for now anywayâŚ
edit adjusted the terminal
Wallpaper: saw it here:https://www.iflscience.com/health-and-medicine/magic-mushroom-compound-psilocybin-can-be-grown-using-yeast/
A new background creation, Purple will never die !
Garuda? I have not come across that one.
I believe it is created by @SGS.
and @librewish
Found the link. Looks interesting.
Not going to switch, but it is a project worth some more attention definitely!!
BTW Cleanjaro is another interesting project, I ran it for about a week, works very well. It is basically halfway between Manjaro and EndeavorOS, running the Arch and Arch LTS kernels instead of Manjaro kernel (installs both the standard and LTS automatically).
I couldnât find Garuda on distrowatch, is it not there?
Seems like itâs discontinued and blaming Manjaro for it⌠How the âthe continued poor quality of Manjaro securityâ can be at fault if they are not using Manjaro kernel?
https://osdn.net/projects/cleanjaro/
Well
Garudalinux is a new distro
Website -
While we use garuda-tools forked from manjaro-tools to work with arch repo.
We also forked mhwd so it will use dkms drivers instead of kernel modules
So you get Nvidia support at the live iso.
Well itâs mostly focused on performance.
Garuda links can be found here https://forum.garudalinux.in/ The isoâs are on sourceforge.
As for cleanjaro I used it quite a bit. It was a fine piece of work being maintained by just @Yorper. It is sad he discontinued it but i understand why but this isnât the place to discuss that. Anyone who wants some background on the whole situation feel free to pm me.
Not switching just helping out some friends. Lord knows I have the extra space:

Well it Was an interesting project.
That Manjaro has a reputation for being less stable than Arch is something I am aware of. The last 6 months on Manjaro I ran Testing which seemingly broke less often than Stable.
Just thought Iâd add in another thing I just gimpâed through - surprising to me that it worked! New Desktop background suitable for EndeavourOSâŚ
Freebird54
Instead of ending the project why didnât they just move to Arch vanilla as a base? Iâm not sure why anyone would make a spin off from Manjaro and not the real thing anyway.
Thats natural there was also a iso with loads of games on it and call it a game edition⌠i think is just mather users makes a iso but doesnât also cooperate with the feeding distrobution.
well cooperation needs people with similar goals and skills.
and in case of manjaro the iso making process was simple just take existing profile add games to packages-desktop and done.buildiso.so while with arch its just difficult
Are you all talking about Garuda now or Cleanjaro?
Nevermind i think we become here to much offtopic
