First try trying hyprland using bare arch linux XD
Visually it looks stunning and i like it a lot (even though the installation itself is going to make me insane, really :pensive:).

You can use the dotfiles from here if you want, just giving the credit where the credit is due

Now to make a splashscreen to match this

And the splashscreen to go along with it, I might make the logo a bit smaller but for now it’ll do

I made the move from Debian (20+ years) +LXQt to EOS + Sway and Hyprland installed with JaKoolit’s script. Works really well, clean and light on resources. I dilly dallied for a while to migrate from my old set up and really like Hyprland and Wayland. I’m holding out for the EOS Community Edition with Hyprland for my other laptop. I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Good job EOS!

You’ll get there, like anything else it’s a learning process of figuring out what works and what doesn’t to create something that’s visually aesthetic to your eyes

@Sharp I would very much like to see your Conky config, still getting Openbox setup but this looks amazing

One thing I am having a problem with is cbatticon for some reason under tint2 icon is black, hence why I had it with a coloured background. Am thinking about using builtin battery config in tint2 …

More work to be done but getting there…
