It’s been a few years since I posted here. After 4 years of running a very stripped down install of XFCE I decided to try the Gnome desktop. Oddly, running on Wayland, Gnome seems snappier than XFCE. Most apps work. I’m running about 10 extensions and I am surprised they haven’t caused a fiery meltdown.
