Wow, how many computers do you have? I can’t imaging changing up my DE/WMs so often.

You’ve inspired me. It’s not bare metal, but I’m having fun and learning i3.

Bravo. This looks amazing.

GNOME with Nordic Polar theme. Not exactly the most lightweight environment ever but I have plenty of RAM  And my use doesn’t usually exceed 5 GB anyways. For now GNOME is perfect for me.

I like the Openbox-jgmenu-conky UI+UX of #!++ or BunsenLabs very much, but decided to go with GNOME because this machine is very capable.

Here you go, opened some apps for you. I use the Arc-Dark theme with Qogir icons, terminal is Alacritty with a custom neofetch config.

The wallpaper is a photo of my son. Over the summer he went through a phase where any bench we would pass by on our walks he wanted to stop and go sit on it for a moment. :joy: :man_shrugging: :camera_flash:

A more purple screenshot coming soon. :enos:

This looks like something I could tolerate only if something were done about the file manager, otherwise would have to suck up the rest of GNOME’s idiosyncrasies.

+1 about Bunsen Labs but the Beryllium theme is too dark for me. I went to make it look like Lithium as much as possible LOL. Not comfortable with window managers yet, was thinking about trying Mabox or one of those coming with EndeavourOS but :chicken: so far.

Yes, I have seen better file managers out there. But now I have gotten very comfortable with the default gestures GNOME provides (touchpad person, shocking) and nothing really offends me so I’ll be sticking with it :joy:

Lithium theme remains in the appearance settings! I also loved the Lithium look so much I immediately undid all possible Beryllium theming. I actually tried installing EOS’ Openbox edition at some point but couldn’t get it to work at all for some reason on my test computer, but then again, for my current use case GNOME is the best fit.

This looks good. I will use this definitely when I install i3 or bspwm
