yeah i have replaced it with a volume module now still looking for a pipewire script and module what really works because most off them dont work the wont even load in polybar or are giving bash script error strait out of the box.

Well, no X-23 this time but it would come in the future when I could get up my lazy arse…

It would have to do with my favorite program to run with Wine:

Your avatar is slightly more vivid than your desktop screenshot.

I wish I could do three-dimensional graphics like this. Looks simple but it’s not.

I got out my rpi4 a few days ago and a usb3.1 external nvme drive to give Fedora a go on the pi. How’s it going??

I’m watching football on my current Fedora. With a Radio City Music hall photo I took in NYC approx 2010ish?? at Christmas time. Shot with my old Olympus E420.

My legion has probably moved permanently to Fedora. With the GPU and gaming, it’s used as a desktop a lot now, printing just works, etc. Fedora was like 10 min install and setup, and literally everything worked and that was it. It’s nice to not think about one computer and just hit update.

I’m going to move my Thinkpad back to Arch I think. I don’t want to get rusty and lazy with Linux which I think will happen with Fedora.

As far as the pi goes. I’ve tried everything and I’ve pretty much hated everything, so I’m hoping to try it out and that it goes good.

All I ask of it still is Firefox to forum hop and a football baseball or basketball game on it.

And a wonderful Christmas to you and yours as well. It’s always great seeing whatever you’re working on at the time. You’re the WM guru.

imo use WM on pi… sway, bspwm or i3 work great on pi…
also try Qutebrowser ( it learn curve, worth it ) for forum hop + watch baseball - US football . keep firefox for other thing you want .

Yes i 100% agree on this

EDit … small tip on Qutebrowser ( : ) is your friend

Which DE is this?

I believe that is twm

twm (Tab Window Manager) is a window manager for the X Window System.
Started in 1987 by Tom LaStrange, it has been the standard window manager
for the X Window System since version X11R4

Thanks for the information! My curiosity was piqued because I’ve never seen anything like it before.

In case you want to play with it.

This has got to be the most lightweight Window Manager ever. The design is minimalist and spartan. I wonder how much system resources it uses.

What you are seeing is default if you start X without setting up a WM / DE. Which, while setting up something on one of my test boxes I accidentally did :grinning:

Lol. What DE/WM were you supposed to run, then?

I installed xfce on it, but forgot to create an .xinitrc to launch it. It’s a FreeBSD box I installed to play around with.

any chance of sharing that wallpaper from little ARM on Fedora fun?
