Not true I’m afraid.

The project was taken over by Apache and is still updated to this day (last update was 4.1.13 in July):

But there hasn’t been a major release since 2014…

If it does what it’s required to do by the user the only updates I care about are security ones if they are needed

Trying to make a matching splash but wanting the loading animation to be either on the bottom left or right and everytime I try to change its placement it stops working. Does anyone have a link to a splash that displays like this as it may be easier for me to work with than what I currently have

Some people are also interested in progress.

Some are, and I understand that but some just want a working system. Each to his own - which is why i love linux

Sure, I do not dispute that. But @linuxmacdude was surprised to read there had been no updates; updates are only part of what are understood to be updates. If someone tells me there have not been any updates I immediately think “it’s outdated”, even if I am told there have been security updates.

Horses for courses.

I haven’t looked at what has or hasnt been updated, I generally only use these programs when I need them to open a document and normally remove after as this is a rare occurence

Buts as you said, horses for courses

I used material endeavour wallpaper from the community wallpapers folder that can be downloaded from the welcome app. I then opened it in gimp and changed the color from purple to blue using hue and temperature settings in the color menu.
