Arch + i3WM =
EndeavourOS KDE
Isnât that gnome 41 thought you made finally the switchâŠ
Everyoneâs still waiting for Gnome 41. KDE is better on Endeavour!
I love that the big announcement for Gnome 42 isâŠwait for itâŠDark Mode.
And the best partâŠthey will have to wait until March of 2022 for it.
Meanwhile, over here on KDE, clapping onâŠclapping offâŠmy Dark Mode.
I have dark mode on gnomeâŠ
Edit: ahah thats what you meant.
I am still happy with gnome 40 but thinking of going full i3wm and using xfce or kde as backup
I am just too lazy to reinstall from scratch.
Why it only takes me 3 minutes.
But but⊠donât tempt me. I managed 3 weeks without reinstalling or changing DE!
KDE is working great for me.
'Tis nothing but a simple plain Jane Gnome desktop. Itâs nothing compared to the amazing creations that lots of you guys use, but itâs functional and intuitive especially if someone else has to use my laptop, and I like it. And honestly, barely anything has changed about my configuration since my old EndeavourOS installed on my desktop a year ago. I donât know if thatâs because itâs great for me or because Iâm a lazy sob with no imagination. Probably the latter.
I still gotta do some minor shit like install Pop Shell.
EndeavourOS with Fluxbox WM. Early days, have to do icons on menu etc. Panel is lxpanel.
My simple KDE+Krohnkite on ARM
Kali linux KDE on virt-manager
Installed Cinnamon on my Laptop. Simple and SMOOTH! Not much done to it besides Qogir theme and Papirus icons. Built in wallpaper is actually nice
Thereâs not much you can do to Cinnamon compared to say KDE, but Cinnamon nowadays is so usable. Itâs a very slick DE. I just wiped a Cinnamon DE off one of my computers but that was only because I wanted to play around with some WMs. Cinnamon kind of reminds me of Appleâs OS-X back in the day when it used to be good, which was over 10 years ago IMHO.
hi friends. been using endeavour for the last 6 or so months and am really impressed. here to represent budgie gang
