EDit. After week on Kde ,I back on Wm and notice speed of everything. No contest ( my opinion )
I have been obsessed with minimal vanilla Arch reinstall every now and then.
550 packages - Just enough to use printers, android phone, some needed filesystem tools and access windows networking.

I try same on sway little times ago . Sad after time count grow ![]()

It is my OCD. Sometimes I walk outside my house 3-4 times a night to check my car doors are actually locked
I don’t even use script to re-install Arch and applications and config. I want the satisfaction of manually typing in commands and see the terminal scroll.
Going forward just going to find a nice GUI installer to stop entertaining myself!
Gui install or manual install … no matter as it your system so your rules . No purist here

Headless freeBSD server running on an ancient Dell Optiplex 755. The computer may be 13 or 14 yrs old. I basically pulled it out of a dumpster at my university. Put a little more RAM and an SSD in it, along with a 4-core chip that this model can’t officially run, but which works fine. Only problem is that the CPU fan runs constantly at full tilt with the “incompatible” chip, so I eventually just unplugged it at the motherboard. Thus the little temp monitor script running at upper right. Basically just using it to learn a little BSD, and I want to try hosting a jekyll blog with it, assuming it can do so without without catching fire.
