Arch Cube!
Do they push the use of snaps? I like budgie and I appreciate the work theyāve done.
I believe Solus has snap and flatpak enabled by default, but not pushed.
I would be fine with flatpak. Very cool. Thank you!
I actually think from a new user who knows nothing about nothing, budgie is actually very simple and intuitive.
Literally where I started
And look at you now. I started with Ubuntu briefly and then mint.
I am back to plasma
@ricklinux they`re on Gnome 40 now.
Aw shucks, was hoping to take Solus Gnome for a spin to again get a taste of that lovely 3.38
Ubuntu?
Could do that, Iām trying to compile it from source on Arch right now so I can actually continue using it.
Gnome 40 is good, but I miss the extension āDash to panelā - Ive tried a workaround, but it doesn
t workedā¦ (except the Gnome-Version of Manjaro - it has a build in dash to panel-functionā¦
But: I like Budgie more than Gnome !
Dash to panel works:
3 aur/gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel-git 42.r6.ga4224f4-1 [+18 ~0.43] [Installed: 42.r8.g3fb7bdb-1]
Extension for GNOME shell to combine the dash and main panel
Really classy icons!
