the darker . slate look
Debian 10 with xfce…
Good wallpaper can make anything look OK So can XFCE…
Is that REALLY a 4-series kernel?
Playing around with Archcraft
just added Polywins to the bar
I like the color scheme!
Normally I’m not a big fan of shadows, but in this case it seems to complement the dark-ish blue well
bit of gnome luv on old hardware
Still perfectly usable…
Just finished installing EOS i3 on an old thinkpad with an i5 2520M…
still plenty fast enough for office use
It definitely does work on older hardware. This is the spare machine i have at work.

that’s even without multithreading yet, right?
My first week with EOS
That should be right. There’s a reason why when you need something to work forever, you run Debian. We’re like 5+years ahead of them hahaha
Just a sec - got to remove my tongue from my cheek! yeah - I know - and I fear the day I am forced by old hardware to do something like that. I have one old laptop that prefers -lts and that’s as far back as I’ve had to go so far
If you like that wall paper there are more variations here:
why choose
I’m on best side.
I use MX Linux on an old MacBook because it’s unfortunately 32 bit. . .
Although I may give rasbpian a roll on it as well.
I really just want someone to buy the damn thing. I’ll take freaking $20 for this thing.
@fbodymechanic what model it ? it cost more to deliver
A1181. Pay the shipping and it’s free for you. But it’ll probably be a fortune to ship.
