What I did was use super + num_pad number, so

7 top L 8 top 9 top R
4 L 5 Max 6 R
1 Bott L 2 Bott 3 Bott R

So bottom L/R Top L/R quarters
L & R = Half
5 maximizes a window
Top & Bottom Halves

Hope that makes sense.

But can you resize the group collectively like say in i3? They tile, but the middle where they meet I don’t get them to snap together unforunately.

Nice. Shout out the script ‘Mxmize To New Virtual Desktop’ - badly named, not actually ‘maximise’ but if you go F11 ‘fullscreen’ it creates/pops into a new desktop, then opening a new window (good for ‘settings’ which doesn’t tile properly).

Hello, this is my desktop.
Last month i gave a second chance to KDE and moved away from GNOME.
I usually keep my desktop simple. Breeze is an excellent theme and KDE a powerful DE.

I also decided to step it up with the new computer. Dual boot Windows and Arch like a proper Thinkpad. It’s all setup, and I don’t see any reason to deviate at this point. I’m loving KDE. I still have my love for Cinnamon, but I’ll probably swap that on my Dell after a year. I want to get a full year on an Arch install just to see what it’s like to truly maintain it. Anyway. “Bender” the t480s on Arch KDE.
