I’ve had it happen to me, while I had to work from home during lockdown…
Being a fresh Linux user, I thought it would be awesome to do my work using FOSS tools…
Apparently Inkscape doesn’t handle gradients the same way, and the end result was massive color banding when it was printed…
Had to explain to my boss why he had to pay thousands of euros to reprint a whole bunch of beachflags and banners for a chain of stores…
Suffice to say, he wasn’t amused.
I think the only reason I wasn’t fired then and there, was that it’s currently illegal over here to fire staff while Covid measures are in place.
I’ve since made up for that stupid mistake, by saving us a bunch of money elsewhere, but I’m not gonna get burned twice

Just made a fresh install of the latest Xfce (4.16) on Arch. I like the new icons, more colourful. And even if my main install is Arch, EndeavourOS is my favorite community

One more for any of you Thinkpad folks out there. I revisited the recent Endeavour Wallpaper that was posted up, and gave it a slight tweak.

How is Archcraft these days?
I remember trying it out before it was even called Archcraft, but was just an Archiso on r/UnixPorn
Looks great! Welcome to EOS!

Seems like we’re sharing a lot of the same elements in our setups
After studying the art of taking screenshots on r/unixporn I have been left on the ideology that it must include a “…fetch” , a system monitor, a spotify or music player and a colour script.
All organized in a pleasing manner accompined with one empty desktop and one firefox!
Do you guys think it’s unixporn worthy?
Enjoy!
