My whole day essentially looked like this:

Finetuning of Niri & DMS to address some quirks in terms of consistent KDE/GTK/Qt6/Qt5/XWayland color theming. Thanks to https://github.com/arqueon/dms-theme-sync.

Quite nice that DMS offers a https://danklinux.com/plugins registry.

Slightly reworked my Arch + NIri + Noctalia setup.
Wallpaper made possible thanks to Daily Wallpaper plugin, which has been just recently ported to Noctalia v5.

My latest Fedora 44 desktop …

A Grolsch on the Moon is now on my Bucket List

who’s in love with their new 27" and EOS Cinnamon? I am  !

I had to tweak the colors. Sorry, but I worked with ChatGPT  Does that count anyway? The result is a really nice color theme based on github_dark_dimmed and Catppuccin_Mocha

If my english broken, that’s purely me. If my english bombastic, that’s ChatGPT or gemini

I wanted a mix of github_dark_dimmed and catppuccin_mocha—with that wine-red accent color and very light gray text color. I could have done it on my own. But AI helped me make EVERYTHING match: Kate editor, btop, konsole, starship. Really, everything. It looks really good.

You use Klassy or Aurorae for you window decorations?

Klassy with a opacity of 80% so it matches all the Darkly application style. In full mode its full dark when the window hit the panel

I sat down yesterday and wanted to tinker with a new color scheme for my daily driver. As you can see above, it’s a bit of this and that. But now I’m done. I’m leaving it like this! This color combination of github_dark_dimmed and catppuccin_mocha turned out great, to say the least (with a little help from AI). Most importantly, I have the same color scheme across all themes (Yazi, Btop, Konsole, Plasma, Kate).

Project is ready :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

are the matts on order? I’m assuming you have good cushion coming in case they fall from the wood climbing wall. You may want to find a better place to store your tools why your at it

AI’s a tool, if it saves me time in the same way I cut the grass with a mower rather than pulling it out with my bare hands, I’m cool with it. If it helps me learn something and understand a concept better, I’m cool with it. Be cool with your tools.

Honestly, with what I know, it would have taken me months. It really saved me time. All in all, I think it turned out really well. For example, I’ve never created color themes for Kate, Yazi, or Btop myself. So now I understand the structure behind them.
