Slightly reworked my Arch + NIri + Noctalia setup.
Wallpaper made possible thanks to Daily Wallpaper plugin, which has been just recently ported to Noctalia v5.
I had to tweak the colors. Sorry, but I worked with ChatGPT Does that count anyway? The result is a really nice color theme based on github_dark_dimmed and Catppuccin_Mocha
I wanted a mix of github_dark_dimmed and catppuccin_mocha—with that wine-red accent color and very light gray text color. I could have done it on my own. But AI helped me make EVERYTHING match: Kate editor, btop, konsole, starship. Really, everything. It looks really good.
I sat down yesterday and wanted to tinker with a new color scheme for my daily driver. As you can see above, it’s a bit of this and that. But now I’m done. I’m leaving it like this! This color combination of github_dark_dimmed and catppuccin_mocha turned out great, to say the least (with a little help from AI). Most importantly, I have the same color scheme across all themes (Yazi, Btop, Konsole, Plasma, Kate).
are the matts on order? I’m assuming you have good cushion coming in case they fall from the wood climbing wall. You may want to find a better place to store your tools why your at it
AI’s a tool, if it saves me time in the same way I cut the grass with a mower rather than pulling it out with my bare hands, I’m cool with it. If it helps me learn something and understand a concept better, I’m cool with it. Be cool with your tools.
Honestly, with what I know, it would have taken me months. It really saved me time. All in all, I think it turned out really well. For example, I’ve never created color themes for Kate, Yazi, or Btop myself. So now I understand the structure behind them.
