Cool looking config! Are you using Waybar in your config? Do you have any tips for theming waybar because from what I’ve tried I’ve found it hard to theme Waybar because I have no idea what to change in the css to make something look like how I want. Do you have any tips for that, currently using Hyprpanel as a bar but I would prefer to use Waybar if I can get it to look nicer and customized?

Thank you
Yes, it’s waybar.
With a few hours in hyprland (this morning I searched “what is hyprland” :stuck_out_tongue: ) I am the last person for tips but I can tell you what I did.
I searched examples with screenshots and configs, found some interesting configs and started to change (modules, colors, css) and test things.
I was using polybar for years and it helped because the “logic” is almost the same.

I wish you to customize the “ultimate” waybar

Switched the icons to Paprius. So much cleaner now. I realize how much time I make KDE look like gnome with dash to panel.

Plasma with Nordic Bluish. Also using it’s SDDM theme. Hopefully we have someday a chance to customize lock-screen more because now… It doesn’t match the theme…

EOS-icon I made from this: https://iconduck.com/icons/303346/distributor-logo-endeavouros
Simply used GIMP to make it white. :enos: :artist_palette:

P.S. And to make you fully aware about the fact that I seriously have problems, I went and translated SDDM-theme into Finnish, because of course everything has to be on same language…

CachyOS which is Arch based running the openbox window manager.

Was curious about the nwg-shell which is a GTK3-based user interface for sway wayland compositor. There is a live-iso available which is simplified version of archinstall nwg-iso. Pretty straight forward, installed it on an external nVME drive for tinkering purposes.

my kind of minimalism—well done.
" In order to give the user the greatest possible choice, some interface elements provide several alternative solutions. The shell contains 4 predefined desktop styles, which can be freely modified by the user."

WM/TM’s have come a long way since I dabbled in them.

Added a lot more icons to my dock/panel :slightly_smiling_face::sweat_smile::ok_hand::heart::dog:

My old Buddhist friend always made a big deal of how it makes so much more sense to have your panel or dock on the left side. I don’t know if it’s true but subconsciously I still always place my panel or my dock on the left now.

u guys are awesome on this site. i feel like i am surrounded with very forgiving… intelligent people LRL HONESTLY

My friend likes it that way, I just never could get into it. Especially on my 49" 32:9 monitor. It makes it a bit far to travel

I use a similar ultrawide monitor, and keep my dock bottom center for the same reason.

Yeah, as I said when I began “I think I’m getting - somewhere with it”
I am just unable to decide on the wallpaper…
(I’m doing this with 2 PCs now, so double work, taking time)

Can I get your fastfetch icon image I’m sure it’s on the internet but I don’t know where I can find it

It looks pretty cool

I don’t know if I’m going to permanently use it but I definitely want it as an option

It looks like the Linux penguin & borg configuration, mix together
