Which fonts are ya’ll using? I personally use Dosis for my system and Iosevka Term for the Terminal. Pretty happy with those ngl.
But I definitely need a decent pair of wallpapers. I got a set of 2 monitors and one of them is rotated by 90 degrees. Both 16:9 and the same size as well. For reference the colorscheme I’m going for, but general recommendations for everyone are welcome as well.
Iosevka is my favorite too. Using it for terminal, code editors etc.
For UI, I keep it at default.
Wallpapers → some 2d animated wallpaper. I don’t feel comfortable seeing many types 3d graphics. There are many websites - wallpapers cave, alpha coders, deviant art etc.
You might want to check out antechdesigns for wallpapers - I’ve ended up with 2 of them for my setup (3840x2160 and (effective) 1800x2400 (vertical orientation). Lots of variety…(and colours)

Just a tiny help for anyone wanting to try out Iosevka - It is significantly condensed if you compare it to other popular monospace fonts. This can make it harder to read. I increase the font size to 1 point more than what would suit other fonts, and then increase character spacing (is it called kerning?). This feature of character spacing is available in my terminal emulator (alacritty) and VSCode.
Using Iosevka without proper character spacing can really be tough to read.
PS. I am an Iosevka fan boy.

Personally, I prefer Hack Bold over Hack Regular, as it is even easier to read, and it has that retro appearance.
Though, Fira Mono, Roboto Mono, and Source Code Pro are not terrible either, and neither is Noto Sans Mono. The only really bad one here is Iosevka, it is unreadable and too narrow for terminal graphics.

Yeah my terminal font size is a bit more than what you’d expect.
As you can see, the proportions are all wrong, and there are ugly artefacts all over the place. It’s pretty bad (though, to be honest, not nearly as bad as I expected it to be, but still…).
This is how it should look (using Hack Bold):
For displaying images as unicode? Indeed they’re terrible. I myself switch to Hack when I need to do some unicode magic
But for displaying text? It suits me perfectly. Wide fonts tend to distract me. Not forcing others to use Iosevka. Use what your eyes are comfortable with 
Of course not (even if you wanted to, you couldn’t force anyone to use any font). Similarly, I’m not forcing anyone to use a good font like Hack 
I’m just demonstrating Iosevka’s inferiority. 
There is nothing wrong with having a strong preference and going by it, even if it is a wrong one by some other standards. It is your standards that matter for your use case.
