You suggest I run this as well or let’s just reboot and see what error comes up?

No leave this for now.

Okay so stuck at the boot screen

Is this what has been happening all along since you have done a reinstall?

Correct.

Can you go into a tty and edit /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and then run the mkinitcpio-P command and reboot.

Running into following codes when I ran the command mkinitcpio-p

Did you try reboot?

Yes and now there one additional line “Finished Load/Save Random Seed”

I remember having those same error messages. So try removing everything from the mkinicpio.conf and then run mkinitcpio -P and see if it rebuilds the kernel modules without those errors.

So after removing everything in the file, the kernel module built successfully and rebooted the PC but not passing through the Graphical Interface Line. :frowning:

This is the current GRUB file

If i remember correctly you have two monitors hooked up?

Yes, correct. The video card supports two dvi but I unplugged the second monitor. Just using one for this installation

Okay. What desktop is it?

HP Pavilion Media Centre
