the media here is talking about London City, who is sure will be there is Ona Batlle
It’s half time in the UEFA Conference League final between Crystal Palace
and Rayo Vallecano ![]()
For both teams it’s only their second ever season in a European competition ![]()
0-0 at half time, with Palace going closest to a goal just before the break ![]()
Yes, the London City Lionesses have
thanks to their owner Michelle Kang.
1-0 to Crystal Palace at full time - deserved winners ![]()
Damn the English teams are out to do a clean sweep of all the UEFA men’s trophies.
Aston Villa - UEFA Europa Cup
Crystal Palace - UEFA Conference League
And now the upcoming UEFA Champions League. Will Arsenal be able to beat PSG? Or will PSG triumph?
PSG are the stronger team & favourites, but I’d be astonished if it ends up 5-0 like last year ![]()
I hope Arsenal wins, I prefer an english team to win the UCL than the french Madrid
I’ll be supporting Arsenal
too. Winning their first league title in 22 years may loosen their shackles and allow them to go for it ![]()
That said, I am impressed at how Luis Enrique has built an actual team at PSG, rather than just a random collection of superstars.
Luis Enrique is a tough and demanding coach but a really good one, always confronting with the press but is just a coach that don’t like to talk in public.
I want him back at Barça, with the current board it will be a really good directive team and we need discipline and better athletes on the field.
What a first half—one for the tactics nerds, really. Brilliant touch from Havertz to make it 1–0. And isn’t that just hilarious? “Take your time at the corner? See you later!”
Twice launched into the clouds. If only they had at least won the cup on the back of a goalkeeping performance. A shame for Arsenal ![]()
Havertz has made history, scoring in two finals, but the title has eluded him.
I don’t really want to say it, but congratulations to Paris. ![]()
Club officials or owners should never be the ones lifting the trophy aloft. That is precisely why I can’t bring myself to celebrate this oil-rich, billionaire-backed club.
Football is sooo 1970s ![]()
That non-corner at the end of the first half was weird ![]()
Arsenal made PSG work for it, and were the only team to score from open play (despite all the hype about them and set pieces). There’s every chance they’ll be in the final again next season ![]()
I my eyes it was not weird but consistent action from the german ref. Right before the corner Arsenal had a throw-in near the corner and needed more than 30 seconds to execute it. The ref and the linesman already warned them not to stall in that situation. Then they did before executing the corner again. The additional time was over nearly a minute when the ref wistled for the half time.
It’s Women’s FA Cup final time ![]()
City vs Brighton kickoff at 16 UTC ![]()
Watching the live stream of Stage 21 of the 2026 Giro d’Italia while still trying to recover from the nine hours I spent glued to yesterday’s 2026 Unbound Gravel race in Emporia, Kansas.
ps: I enjoy all aspects of cycling, whether it’s on the road, on the track, or off-road. I am also an road cyclist myself.
Can’t wait for the Tour ![]()
