How did you get a cat to look relaxed in a sink - UNDER a water tap???
her choice. i just caught the moment. she preferred to drink from the water from the sink so long as it was not too fast. she didnt care for drinking from a bowl… i would leave the tub on slow sometimes for her to drink from…
she would come up to me and head butt me right on my head if i was sitting down… she claimed me as family…
the flower in the photo above was taken from one of our walks at night.
the one in the stroller was after she had surgery. she had gone out one night on her own and came back limping i think she was hit by a car, likely a drunk driver… she had surgery which cost me 2600$ and broke me for years. she died 11 months later from her heart murmur. I still miss her and it’s been more years that she was gone than she was with me. grief sucks.
Snickers and Skor and licorice used to accompany me on walks but it’s been 2-3 years since I have gone out. They might not follow so well any more since we are out of the habit.
Phantoms
Cool look to this one! A dark-themed cat!
These two guys (or girls, or boy and girl, not sure tbh) were simply irresistible so we had to pick them up the last time we went to a pet shop
Our 16 years old cat Blacky about to do some jumpin’ around.
It’s good for clearing out the lymphcatic system after all
A sunny Sunday morning at the Rhine.
Oh you might be surprised. They usually keep their distance but hassle the bear, of course it is a small pack of hounds that know how to work together. Also they are pretty fast and nimble to stay out of reach. Your boy is a bird dog but could roll in a bear hunt, he’d stand off until he was confident and learned the ropes.
No offense, he’d be more worried about you running into a bear, I mean humans are pretty slow.
I had a couple of ponds for some decades. My son had a cat fish and a Bass for years. We also had some of your cousins from the toad branch of amphibians.
Of course there was more then one…
Notice the egg strands?
So what do you know!
Generations of toad song nights and males wrestling for position around the pond. Better than T.V.!
Especially me. Hahah. You’re probably right. My boy can be protective. I’d still be petrified of the whole scenario. He’s absurdly fast though. I’m sure you’re right.
One more cat
Visiting Australia in 2006/7.
Here is a photo of a little trout stream not far from where I live that my son took yesterday. A tranquil picture that does not reveal the whole truth of being eaten by black flies and mosquitoes.
But the picture reveals the dangerous two-eyed big-mouth creature at the lower left corner…
Anyway, really great picture!
I never noticed that in the lower left. Scary. Glad my son was not devoured.
