Pamac and new Pacman 6.0.0... - does't work

Long answer:

[Archlinux]pacman 6.0 and pamac-aur compatibility

Hello. I’m running an Archlinux installation with testing enabled and today, pacman 6.0.0-2 landed on testing. Pamac-aur-git was removed. I tried to build pamac-aur-git with pacman 6.0 libs, and it doesn’t work. I opened a bug on pamac bug tracker: https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/pamac/-/issues/1047 So, when pacman 6.0 will land on core, you will have to remove pamac-aur and wait for it to be compatible.

Short answer:
Install libalpm 12 from AUR.

I’ve packaged up libalpm.so.12 from pacman 5.2.2 and put it in the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libalpm12/ You can install this package and pamac-all (etc.) will work until a new/fixed version of Pamac is released. Pamac itself won’t rebuild (yet) because meson will pick up libalpm 13 if it’s installed… Pinging @FredBezies for info.

Either way, you will probably need to temporarily uninstall pamac-aur-git
