After using EOS for about a week, I decided to change DEs, and thought it would be easiest to just reinstall the entire OS. Every single time I try to install, it gives me the same “Package Manager Error”, even though I’m doing the same thing as the last time that the installation worked. Here Is my error log.
I’m using a 2019 Macbook Pro with the Endeavour for T2 Macs ISO. I’ve tried Calamares initialization failed this several times, among a few other fixes here, but nothing has worked.
Is that an older ISO you are trying to use?
You can work around that issue by unchecking nautilus-sendto
in the Gnome section on the page where you can select packages.

Update: The package manager works fine now, but the boot loader fails to install. I’m going to turn off safeboot but since this is a Mac, I need to wait through internet recovery, which could be a while.
It finally worked ! Thanks !
