On Wednesday 19 October our websites including the forum will be down between 12:00 and 13:00 Berlin time, due to maintenance of the solar power system at our server provider.
The downtime can take up to an hour at the most, but it will most likely be between 5 and 10 minutes.

Not a long layoff. Often I don’t even notice that there is a server outage, because I’m not on the forum at the moment, I often only find out what happened to the website from the notification about an official Twitter post.

You all need a redundant source of power (tongue-in-cheek), perhaps you should look into oil or coal generation of power?
