Remove these lines. Should work then.

thanks gents. still identical to picture with PNG. open and closed everything. maybe it hates the png and config living together? may move it to /downloads and report back.
How old is this screenshot resp. when was this PC updated the last time?
kernel 6.10.10
fish 3.7.1
Mesa 24.2.3
konsole 24.8.1
This PC hasn’t seen an update since last year I would assume.
Which terminal do you use? Some terminals like alacritty doesn’t display images well
Yep could be this. I only ever got images showing in Konsole or Kitty. Alacritty caused me an existential crisis. ![]()
alacritty
current config:
“$schema”: “https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch/raw/dev/doc/json_schema.json”,
“logo”: {
“source”: “/home/brent/Downloads/cinn.png”,
“type”: “auto”,
“padding”: {
“top”: 2,
Was it previously showing images if you wanted it to?
Take a look here. I have had the same
never tried before you made that logo.
@swh on it, thanks
Same here. Too much config possibilities for me ![]()
You need a Terminal that supports Images Like Kitty. Alacritty does not. I also use alacritty but for showing fastfetch image I do use kitty.
“damn that sucks” ![]()
there’s a long shot fix in that link. the long shot being my comprehension
I’m only too familiar with that kind of link ![]()
The fix didn’t work or I didn’t work, one of the two ![]()
Oh maaaan. So is it Kitty time then? ![]()
I’ve got a lovely Kitty config you are most welcome to.
I used gnome-terminal (a Corolla) for 7 years and the last year with Alacritty (let’s say a Lexus) and I am not giving Alacritty up—I absolutely enjoy using it.
I can still embed that logo in other places though.
No Kittly yet but thank you!
Which is why I only use Kitty for fastfetch. Its a fairly small package (50mb)

do I need a lot of character to be a 2-terminal user? can I have two terminals and still drink?
asking for a friend
Ah now there’s a question. ![]()
