I just noticed that the window shadows in Plasma is gone (running default Breeze Dark, no customization’s). I suspect this may be related to some recent update and I like to check if anyone else has seen this problem? Tested changing the shadow color in Window Decorations -> Breeze and did a logout/login, still no shadows 
… System is updated as per today.

Enabled Compositor, rebooted, everything OK now. Wonder what caused that crash…

I don’t know, for example i’ve been testing 2nd screen to see if per-display scaling is working - compositor crashed when connecting 2nd display…
kwin is good, but still not the most stable thing in a world

Yeah , most issues in Plasma is fixed with reboot or waiting
