No sound output when running games thru Proton

I’ve had a generally good experience gaming with EndeavourOS so far, but when I run games through Proton I don’t get any sound output. Native Linux games output sound just fine so I’m not sure what the issue is, and games run fine under Proton otherwise. My desktop environment is MATE and my machine is an HP Chromebook 14a Blooglet with a Celeron N4020+UHD600 iGPU.

Welcome!

It may be caused because prefix used by Proton is not 64, but 32, for some unbelievable reason…
Make sure those packages are installed and try again:

lib32-alsa-plugins lib32-libpulse lib32-openal

Turns out I’ve already got those packages installed

Edit: Thanks for the welcome too! I’ve been meaning to create an account for a while and just got around to it.

What about pipewire packages?
Since we use pipewire (i’m still on pulse personally) it may be new requirement…

It looks like lib32-pipewire’s present too
