After I installed the system, I checked sensors output and it displayed two values:
CPU and GPU temperatures.
After installing proprietary nvidia drivers as described here

sensors output stopped displaying GPU temperatures.
I ran sudo sensors-detect, agreed with all the capslocked options.
There were two entries related to Nvidia, I tried checking them “yes”, but this did not help.
As a result, it detected bunch of stuff, but no GPU temperature.
Under Windows I used Nvidia drivers and used HWinfo for sensor output, it displayed GPU temperature. Why sensors stopped detecting GPU temperature after switching to nvidia driver?
