Missing vmlinux-linuz and corrupted grub

I got an error during boot and couldn’t boot into every kernels I have on my system.

Blockquote /boot/vmlinuz-linux not found
you need to load the kernel first

So I boot up a live media and made some self repair with solution from Help please! Unable to boot into system.

Grub make-config failed and broke grub. Now I am in grub recovery and trying to do “ls” on the drives. Unlike my older encounters, it doesn’t show the file system on the boot drive. When it comes to setting root for inux partation, it prints “‘/boot/vmlinuz-linux’ not found.”

@mushrooms
It looks like you tried to repair grub from the live ISO. You have to arch-chroot into the system first before repairing grub & or reinstalling it.

Oh I see. How do i continue from grub rescue

I believe you can not repair it from grub rescue screen.

You need to boot from an EndeavourOS / arch live media.
arch-chroot to your installation: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Chroot
Then you repair grub: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB

I just thought you knew how to repair or reinstall grub from your earlier post. So i just gave you a link to the wiki for arch-chroot. I assume it’s a UEFI system.

Here is a link for grub repair for both Bios & or UEFI
