Mesa caution to All users EDIT: New Mesa update is out---everyone affected try with caution & post if it is sucessful

It should but there have been some issues with it that i think have been rectified. :thinking:

Thanks, but people with igpu and dgpu are more affected. Specially RTX with Intel combo. 2 machines updated fine here, i don’t want to try it on my main machine which has this combo.

Hi, as of right now both of my devices (Laptop with Intel+Nvidia with Hybrid Graphics, and PC Intel+Nvidia just Nvidia Graphics) are fine.

Maybe install the nvidia driver ? Your using nouveau driver for your nvidia card.

Run an update, esp. mesa is outdated.

I’ll give it a try and report back, though it would seem this is a regression that shouldn’t require migration to another driver.

I downgraded to 25.0.5 purposefully; the latest versions result in the error mentioned here.

Working with the nvidia driver fine; wish I had read Nvidia GPU users attention please! [June 2025] first and attempted vulkan-nouveau to see if that worked first.
