Live Boot Error Endeavour 11_19_2021

I’m not sure where to put this type of problem. Not sure it’s a bug, but here goes:
machine:Asus z97-A (if it matters, I can try to give you more info if that is what you want. This is the first online boot from a successful creation of the live session from a cd.
I followed instructions to reboot into the online version of your latest update on 11/19/2021.
When I reboot into the online version:
It installs ok until:
EndeavourOS Linux 5.15.2-arch1-1 (tty1)
Asusz97x-a Login:bobcapp
Password: redacted by moderator
then it drops me into the terminal;
[bobcapp@asusz97x-a ~]$ with a blinking cursor
First of all, this is not my first attempt at installing from a cd iso.
but the first attempt with the newest version of Endeavour.
Am I doing something incorrectly?
I have changed my bios to boot from my samsung ssd from my cd writer successfully,I think, but have same results after numerous attempts. I expected to see the Welcome Scene after the login process. Instead I get the terminal prompt.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance, Bob C

Which graphics card do you use?
If you have a Nvidia card, which boot option of the Live CD are you using (nouveau or proprietary Nvidia driver)?

Please run this command on the terminal:

inxi -Faz | eos-sendlog

and show the returned URL address here.

Wait. You’re using the latest updated iso from 11/19/2021? Or the 8/27 release and updated to today?

And also, you should probably change your password since the internet knows it to be redacted by moderator

yes I am using the latest updated iso.The 8/27 release and updated to today.
Too to use? So should report a potential bug?

I am not using a plugin graphics card at this time.
Thanks for the tip on the password thing; I didn’t think when I did it.Duh.
Thanks, Bobcapp
Don’t Know Why, but the second try this afternoon at 1:40, it’s working as it should. Set the mirrors; see what happens next .I’ll post the results.

Sorry not knowing terminal like I should, that was my intention for today.

That’s good. I’m just making sure. I’m looking forward to the next results.

Well I got as far as the Partition Manager and expected to see something like on the live user version. Instead I got Gparted and I can’t find anything, anywhere like the version that’s included with this newest release.
Did Find out about inxi though; here is the log about hardware and software:

Drive is set as MBR? Doesn’t your system support UEFI

this is forcing to install in MBR ( mode Bios )

It is set as UEFI. Please see my post to fbodymechanic and Stephane above.

Can you put code tags around your post for the hardware? It makes it easier to read. Do you know what i mean?

I got it :ok_hand:

Thanks. I actually wish we could have everything uploaded via the eos-sendlog. It is so much easier to follow. Even this is tiresome but much better.

@Bobcapp
Can you please explain exactly the issue again as i don’t really see any hardware that jumps out as being an issue other than it’s Zeon processor. According to the website it shows Bios. It doesn’t say UEFI although your hardware output shows

UEFI-[Legacy]

So I’m not sure but that’s another matter.

Anyway so it’s not installed? It boot’s on the ISO and does what? Any possibility to show what’s on the screen?

Edit: I’ve gone back to your first post and you have.

It installs ok until:
EndeavourOS Linux 5.15.2-arch1-1 (tty1)

Graphics is Intel Integrated.

Well, after all this discussion and everyone trying hard to help. I can see after several reinstalls of the live disk, it puts me into the correct installer screen.
I have chosen KDE Plasma and so far so good.
Thank all who contributed so much time and effort, Bobcapp
