My absolute favorite cider to date. Not sweet at all, very crisp and refreshing.
It’s filling and not as hang over enducing. Cheers to Monday, because some of us work weekends too, so Friday is just sometimes what we think of as Wednesday.

Here in Croatia, špeci (which is just a local writing of the word Spezi, pronounce “shpetsi”) is a non-alcoholic cocktail consisting of one part Coca-Cola and one part Fanta, just poured into the same glass. Very simple, but surprisingly delicious.

Sounds good to me! I was used to ‘experiment’ in like ways with the available varieties in soda ‘fountains’ found in self-serve restaurants, and some of the resulting ‘swamp juice’ combinations were quite tasty!

The Germans also like to mix Fanta or Cola 50/50 with regular lager beer,
I find this very refreshing in the summer, and also quite useful when there’s for example a heatwave and you want the drink but not all of the alcohol effects.

Enjoying myself a nice mocha. Unfortunately, I can’t really drink milk anymore so I’ve had to switch to almond milk so whenever I order a drink people presume I’m some sort of pretentious hipster 
That said, the almond milk is actually far more tolerable than I was expecting. Has made the transition more bearable for me.

I hardly drink alcohol anymore, so for me… depending on time of day and in what situation I say give me a good Swedish cup of coffee (so, strong. Basically we drink expresso-strength but full size cups) with milk. Or a huge glass of pepsi.

Not even they mix it with Fanta or Cola, but with Sprite too.
And they use not only lager beer but wheat beer too.
At the end they have fancy names for those different mixtures and even different names for the same mixture in different parts of Germany.

So late last month I was made redundant due to the impact of COVID-19 on the organization I worked for. Today I finally got the official confirmation that I secured a new role. Not starting for a couple more weeks yet, but it’s a massive burden off my shoulders to finally get the paperwork.
I think I’m going to celebrate tonight with some junk food: coca cola for the drink, and maybe a pizza?

I can relate, because I’m in a (kinda) similar situation. Gonna be a student again for the next few years.
Not having a job is one of the more stressful things in life, and when it is resolved it is a massive, massive relief.
