Tried the Vanilla Porter. As per the label “Roasted malts with notes of vanilla”.
After 5 to 10 minutes it had a pleasing, albeit noisy, after belch. I guess that is the “notes” they were referring to!

Mokaya Chockolate Stout. Never been a fan of what I call ‘‘fantasy’’ beers, beers with fanciful, frivolous modern and exotic additives, and this one hasen’t got me convinced! Chockolate has got nothing to do in a beer, period!
Beer, Virgina Tobacco, some old jazz on the stereo, and woodworking - a perfect combination! I set a line at six-seven beers, for security reasons.

Slowly smoked Santa was my choice for this year’s Christmas beer. Beech smoked barley malt gives interesting flavour. Maybe not my favourite beer, but funny picture made me buy it…
