Latest Pacman Updates Break SDDM

I received three text messages from users that reported SDDM is broken when they did sudo pacman -Syu. Right before SDDM is displayed the screen flashes a few times, but their SDDM login is never displayed.

So, I updated with pacman and the same thing happened to me.

I had the users revert to before they updated via timeshift which fixed their problem. I did the same and no issues.

I narrowed down the issue to the following updates:
